cats cant breath with their mouths.. just nose.. if cats get water in there its NOT good. Also, if they catch a cold and get sick they could stop breathing from congestion (snot) blocking the one airway. Cats know what is best for their health, you should just trust them about the water thing..

The person who chooses to laugh at this incident in which trauma is inflicted onto a completely defenceless little creature, is an absolute pig of a person who should be put down and not haved the privilege to either raise a child or be responsible for an animal.
